Plugin details

Display a sleek, customizable modal for any async process — from API calls to image uploads. Show users a “Please wait” message with animated ellipses while your workflow runs in the background. Optionally include an image/GIF upload with live preview. Great for AI tasks, file processing, or any long-running action where clean UX matters.
This modal appears via workflow actions. At runtime, it's invisible until triggered. Drag it anywhere; placement doesn’t matter.

1. Add the Element to Your Page
Drag the Smart Wait Modal element from the plugin list onto your page.
This element displays a customizable "please wait" screen while processes run.

2. Configure the Design-Time Settings
In the element’s property editor:

Wait Message – Set the message shown to users (e.g., “Generating your result…”)

Image Upload – Upload a custom image or animated GIF to display in the modal (e.g., spinning gear).
This is only used at design time, not during live runtime.

Modal Color / Font Color – Customize the modal appearance

Text Position – Choose whether the wait message appears above or below the image (default: below)

3. Trigger the Modal in Workflows
Use these actions in your workflow:

Show Modal – Display the modal (typically when a long-running process begins)

Hide Modal – Remove the modal (e.g., when the process completes)

💡 Example:

When Button is clicked → Show Modal → Run backend workflow → Hide Modal after completion

4. Use States & Events (Optional)
is_loading → true while modal is shown (you can bind this to other UI elements)

modal_dismissed → triggers when the modal is hidden

🔁 Notes
This modal is not an uploader — the image upload in the property editor is just for customizing appearance, not for user interaction.

All logic is controlled via workflows. The modal does not block interaction unless you design your app that way.
