FAQ

- How do I set up swipe detection on specific elements?
To apply swipe detection to specific elements, simply add the element's unique ID to the "Element ID" field in the plugin settings. You can find or set the element ID in the Bubble editor under the element's properties.

- What swipe actions are supported?
The plugin supports swiping in four directions: left, right, up, and down. You can assign a different workflow to each swipe direction based on the user’s action.

- Can I adjust the sensitivity of swipe detection?
Yes, you can adjust the swipe sensitivity by modifying the "Swipe Threshold" (the distance in pixels that the user must swipe for it to be detected) and the "Allowed Time" (the time in milliseconds to complete the swipe action). This helps you customize how easily a swipe is registered.

- Is it possible to detect multiple swipe actions on the same page?
Yes, you can track different swipe actions on various elements of the same page by providing different element IDs for each swipe detector instance.

- Can I use this plugin for a swipe-to-delete feature?
Absolutely! Assign a "Swipe Left" action to trigger a workflow that removes an item or performs any other desired action, such as deleting an order or dismissing a notification.

Best swipe action I've found on Bubble

Please note - version 1.22.0 caused a bug where the swipe workflow was triggering twice. I downgraded to 1.21.0 again until its fixed.
Couldn't figure it out

Probably did something wrong, but after installation I had access to the Swipe_detector element for a while, then it (arbitrarily) disappeared, replaced by a Press&Hold detector element. I uninstalled and reinstalled the plugin but couldn't restore the Swipe_detector element. While I had it the swipe detection element seemed to work okay (I didn't test it extensively), but such unpredictable behavior makes it unlikely that I will use the plugin for the fear of it crashing the app at some point. It might be more straight forward if the two elements were separate plugins with elements that showed all the time.

The perfect Swipe detector

Zerocode plugins are really reliable and I use several of them. This plugin works wonderfully and opens the doors to the development of native applications. The addition of the Press&Hold function is a major advantage.
