Instructions

1. Create any Workflow trigger just like you're used to.
2. Add "Export" action and configure the input data.
Check out the screenshots on demo page and input fields documentation for more info (see screenshots 2 and 3 on demo page).

3. Add "Download" action and set "Dynamic link" field to receive the result of previous step (see screenshot 4 on demo page).

4. If you want to insert an image into cells, it should be encoded in base64 and should have prefix "/b64img:" before it (see screenshot 3 on demo page).

Note: No separate image sizing supported for now, image scale is controlled by the unified params.
Note: CSV files do not support images integration.

Not worth it
September 18th, 2025
We bought a perpetual license for our main app, but the one-time option was removed when we started using it with a sub-app. It works fine, but customization is very limited, and there are better plugins available with perpetual licenses. Not worth $7/month.
Not perfect but works

We're using this plugin to let our users download up to 2000 entries in a csv or excel file. It's a bit tricky but it works.
The worst

I paid $17 and it's no good, I copied everything exactly as it says and it's just no good, a total scam.
Hello there! Sorry to hear it did not work out well for your use case. For future reference, the plugin does offer a prorated monthly subscription that allows you to test it at a minimal cost (only paying for the time you use it). Could you please specify what was the exact issue on your setup? (plugin author)

Doesn't work
February 16th, 2023
Paid $17 for a plugin to open up an Excel file that doesn't work. Awesome!
Thank you for your interest and giving this plugin a try! I understand it's been a while since you encountered the issue. Its not always I can allocate much time to address individual app issues, but I do continuously maintain it and check for any issues which might appear, including those related to the recent upgrade to V4. I hope you've found a workaround or solution to your issue by now. For future reference, the plugin does offer a prorated monthly subscription that allows you to test it at a minimal cost (only paying for the time you use it). Thank you for your understanding and I wish you the best of luck :) (plugin author)

Works fine in Development, but throws error in Live version
January 5th, 2023
The export action generates a CSV as expected and then the download action downloads this file. Funnily, this works only in the Dev version. When I deploy to Live, the download action throws the following error: " The plugin WB Export (CSV / XLSX) / action Download threw the following error: ReferenceError: saveAs is not defined at eval (PLUGIN_1631818528605x812939911340228600/WB-Export--CSV-/-XLSX--action--Download-.js:3:308). (please report this to the plugin author)"
Thank you for sharing your feedback! It's rather uncommon for a plugin to function differently in the development and live environments on Bubble. The plugin seems to operate correctly for the majority of use cases and it does work in the live demo, so the root problem might be unique to your live environment. I'd maybe suggest double-checking the setup and configurations in this case. I hope you've already resolved the issue by now or found an alternative approach. Thanks for your interest and have a great day :) (plugin author)
