Who we are

There are a lot of ways to earn a living; we picked working for Bubble because we think what Bubble does is important and valuable to the people who use our software. This belief can’t be taken for granted; it needs to be reinforced by actual human concern for the success of people who trust us with their businesses and livelihoods. Our users often don’t have fallback plans. If Bubble stops meeting their needs, they face the loss of their own hopes, dreams, and economic security. That’s a huge weight we carry, and to carry it well means taking responsibility on a user-by-user basis for doing the best we can to help them.

We believe that empowering others yields exponential returns. We believe in “teaching to fish” rather than “giving a fish”, as the saying goes. It’s the basis of our product vision, and we think it’s a fundamental principle for creating major and lasting impact. Bubble exists because we believe in this value: it’s about as core to our ethos as you can get.

We have an incredibly ambitious vision, which we are tackling with limited people, time, and money, in a rapidly changing competitive landscape. Against those challenges, we believe in pursuing our vision with determination and passion. This drive has to come from within ourselves; no extrinsic motivation is going to be able to help us navigate the twists and turns of building an industry-transforming company. We do this because we believe in it; we believe the world is better off with our product, and we delight in doing excellent work and helping our users succeed.
