Bubble App of the Day: Beazy Gang

We asked the founder of Beazy Gang, Julia Besson, about building a collaborative app that connects creative professionals to work on future projects, share portfolios, and network around the world. Besson has an education background and experience in neuroengineering. With Bubble, Besson built her app with endless backend capabilities and a consistent user interface, all with no code.

Tell us about your app and what it does.

Beazy Gang is a collaboration tool for creatives. If you're a photographer, filmmaker, model, designer, makeup artist, sound engineer, musician, or any other creative, you can now use Beazy Gang to show your work, connect with like-minded people, find your next job or hire the talents you need for your next production.

How does your app work?

Users can use Beazy Gang to create a creative profile and showcase their portfolios in a smart way with all useful links (including a mobile social media reference landing page). They can explore the work of other creatives around the world, save the profiles they like most, get in touch with them, and leave them reviews once they collaborated or work together. Brands can also post jobs and get applications from the talents they're looking for.

Tell us a little about your background and how you discovered no-code tools like Bubble.

I studied neuroengineering and learned a few programming languages the hard way. I launched my startup Beazy Gang last year, and I was looking for tools that would help me build what I needed as fast as possible, without spending months learning new languages. After a bit of research, Bubble seemed to be the best option!

Why did you build your app on Bubble?

I chose Bubble because of the endless possibilities in the backend and smooth user interface.

What have been your successes or milestones so far?

Having 100 users in less than a day was a significant milestone!

What are your next steps or future plans for your app?

My next goal is to build the premium version with more tools and to create more opportunities for creatives (badges, trust scores, more links, display on top of the lists, priority applications to jobs, etc.), thanks to a monthly subscription.
