Important: iOS notifications require:

- iOS 16.4 or later
- Safari browser
- App added to the home screen

Solid and usable push notifications

I'm in pre-production still, but I have tested and used this plugin for push notifications for my browser and mobile web app. It would have received a 5 star rating except for the fact that with Apple iOS and Mac OS, there are some limitations you should know about. For Windows desktop, I've tested with with Chrome, Edge, and Arc with success. In iOS, it only works with Safari WHEN THE APP IS SAVED TO THE HOME PAGE. I have created a PWA app which installs into the phone or desktop nicely, but then it only works in my production app (not "version-test"). On the macbook, it only works with Safari. But in conclusion, it does work!!! and the support from Zeroqode is excellent. I DO RECOMMEND THIS PLUGIN.

As you’ve noted, push notifications on iOS do come with certain limitations, which we’ve highlighted in the plugin description. Just as a reminder, the plugin supports iOS notifications only when:

    iOS 16.4 or later is installed,
    Safari is the browser in use,
