Kreante Built Peru’s First International Bubble Agency

A chance to lift an entire ecosystem

Jorge Del Carpio’s career has always been rooted in building products. He spent 15 years in hydraulics and energy engineering before deciding to pursue his true passion – entrepreneurship. In 2018, Jorge moved from his home in France to head an incubator for start-ups in Peru.

When Jorge’s contract as incubator director ended, he partnered with one of the best engineers he knew – his cousin, Christiam Munoz – to co-found Peru’s first no-code agency, Kreante. A software developer turned consultant, Christiam quickly saw in Bubble the potential to change the trajectory of the entire Latin American entrepreneurial ecosystem.

25+ team members, 75+ projects shipped, 17+ countries served

Founders helping founders

Through his interactions with hundreds of Peruvian founders, Jorge was deeply aware of entrepreneurship's steep barriers to entry, and how they hindered his founder mentees. Without sufficient coding background, budget for hiring engineers, or CTOs in their networks, these entrepreneurs quickly hit an impasse – no matter how promising their ideas.

Jorge was surrounded by amazing entrepreneurs, but knew he couldn’t build all of their products himself. He also knew doing so himself wouldn’t solve the long-term need he saw for a scalable and sustainable model to help the Peruvian startup ecosystem. He set out in search of solutions, came across the no-code space, looked into several low-code agencies, and then came upon Bubble.

"Without sufficient coding background, a budget for hiring engineers, or CTOs in their networks, these entrepreneurs quickly hit an impasse – no matter how promising their ideas."

Jorge saw in Bubble the potential to elevate the entire Peruvian startup scene. But he knew he couldn’t do it alone. In 2020, after a few more conversations, Christiam agreed to leave the comfort of a steady paycheck and dive back into product development for the first time in 12 years, as co-founder of Kreante.

Peru’s first Bubble agency is born

Jorge and Christiam quickly honed their Bubble skills on a recipe-sharing app for their friends and family. Once they had mastered the platform's essentials like workflows, data structuring, and responsive design, they shifted attention back to their networks and began building apps for several fellow founders.

Once the ball started rolling, it kept going. The co-founders set up the company and enrolled in Bubble’s Agency Plan. They found their first client. Then their second, and then their third. There was no shortage in project variety; not only were their clients spread across the globe, but they spanned industries from beauty to EdTech to professional development. Kreante worked with founders developing their earliest MVPs, and they worked with well-established corporations — like Peru’s biggest insurance company, for whom they’re currently building a new product onboarding portal.

Bubble’s Agency Plan helped Jorge and Christiam launch Kreante in record time. It continues to empower their growing team, giving them the flexibility and control to develop apps for clients of all sizes and budgets.

Though Kreante is based in Lima, Peru, the team is distributed across all corners of the world. Developers and designers are scattered across different cities in Peru, the U.S., Spain, Colombia, Honduras, the Dominican Republic, and Venezuela. The Agency Plan’s flexible pricing system allows Kreante to pay only for the number of active developer seats needed at any given time.

Bubble’s Agency Plan helped Jorge and Christiam launch Kreante in record time. It continues to empower their growing team, giving them the flexibility and control to develop apps for clients of all sizes and budgets.

Moreover, the Agency Plan’s collaboration features permit the team to continue app iteration and maintenance, even after handoff to their client. This allows Kreante to refine and update apps as per clients’ requests, enabling them to maintain their high standards of quality. Looking ahead, the team is particularly excited about Bubble's upcoming version control improvements, which will allow them to improve progress-tracking and edit multiple apps in parallel.

Kreante’s story has only just begun

Bubble’s breadth and depth of functionality, coupled with the Agency Plan’s flexibility, empowered Jorge and Christiam to quickly scale Kreante without compromising their vision for success.

Today, Kreante continues to embody Bubble’s mission of democratizing access to the software space. The agency manifests tech opportunities for creatives without technical backgrounds — a student of global languages and a local tour guide are just a couple of the Bubblers they’ve recently hired. Jorge and Christiam recognize the economic and societal disparities present in Latin America, and they see in Bubble the potential to help close some of these gaps.

What’s next? In addition to ongoing client work, Kreante is focused on expanding Kreante Academy, a series of courses focused on no-code development skills and entrepreneurship. Jorge and Christiam are leveraging online education to further expand and empower the LatAm tech ecosystem, and inspiring their fellow founders to realize their visions on Bubble, too.
