When Jean-Emmanuel Losi and his co-founder, Simon Seroussi, started building internal tools for their property management company in 2022, they had no idea they were creating the foundation for a venture-backed startup.

Less than three years later, SuiteOp — a vertical SaaS platform covering every aspect of hospitality operations — has raised $3 million in seed funding. They’ve also reached $700,000 in annual recurring revenue, serve more than 100 organizations, and see up to 30,000 daily guest users — all built on Bubble.

From internal tools to venture-backed startup

The story begins in 2019 with Sosuite, the duo’s short-term rental property management company in Philadelphia. By 2022, expensive third-party tools that didn’t fit their needs pushed the team toward a different solution.

With a background in code but no full-stack SaaS experience, Jean-Emmanuel turned to Bubble and was immediately impressed. “It was easy for me to get started, and it allowed me enough customization that I could do pretty much anything I wanted to do.”

After building their first booking engine, the team realized they could replace every SaaS tool their property management company used with a custom tool built on Bubble. They spent 2022 and 2023 systematically building modules for every single aspect of hospitality operations — from guest management to internet of things (IoT) device control to workflow automation.

By 2024, what started as internal tools had coalesced into something much bigger. “We decided that what we’d built was really powerful,” Jean-Emmanuel says. “That’s when we said, let’s see if we can start selling it to other property managers.” SuiteOp was born.

A comprehensive vertical SaaS platform

SuiteOp’s Bubble-built platform manages the entire guest journey and property operations cycle. It integrates with property management systems and platforms like Airbnb to automatically pull reservations, then handles everything from guest check-ins via a white-labeled portal to remote control of the lights and appliances in the home. The platform even controls smart locks and thermostats through APIs, automatically adjusting temperatures before arrivals for energy savings.

Behind the guest-facing features, SuiteOp automatically takes care of certain tasks like scheduling housekeeping and maintenance, and their custom workflow engine provides hospitality-specific “if this, then that” automations for hosts to set up themselves.

The team has also built sophisticated AI features that set them apart from competitors. Their photo verification system lets managers enter prompts to automatically confirm that uploaded task photos match requirements — a “massive timesaver” in an industry where field workers like maintenance staff often rush through requirements. Another AI feature analyzes guest reviews and messages, categorizing feedback to help property managers prioritize recurring issues.

For their most advanced features, SuiteOp’s team has built custom Bubble plugins, including a workflow engine with drag-and-drop canvas functionality and an email builder that allows customers to create branded emails with dynamic variable insertion.

Mobile-first innovation in record time

Perhaps SuiteOp’s most impressive recent achievement has been the launch of their native mobile app, built using Bubble’s mobile editor in just two months, from January to March 2025. The app contains the functionality most used by field operations staff — housekeepers, maintenance workers, and other team members who need mobile-first features.

The native app replaced their former “wrapped” application, which frequently crashed due to performance issues with their web app’s single-page structure. The mobile editor enabled them to create a more robust solution — and tailor it specifically to mobile use. “This new application is a lot more stable,” Jean-Emmanuel says.

"Being able to use the same backend workflows, the same database — those things were really big time savers."

“I would say at best, traditional development probably would have taken six to eight months to build something similar,” he says. “Being able to use the same backend workflows, the same database — those things were really big time savers. If it hadn’t been that easy for us to build, it probably would not have been a priority. But because it felt like such low-hanging fruit, in just a few months, we had something that competes with the best technology in our space.”

Speed as competitive advantage

For Jean-Emmanuel, Bubble’s impact comes down to competitive advantage through speed of iteration. “We had the perfect mix: being our own users for the platform, plus using Bubble, which allows us to build and iterate that much faster.”

The combination of rapid development and comprehensive features has driven strong business results. After beginning external sales in 2024, SuiteOp reached approximately $700,000 in ARR by year’s end and raised a $3 million seed round in February 2025. Today, their 13-person team serves about 100 organizations with 1,500 daily employee users and up to 30,000 daily guest users.

“We were able to compete in less than two years with companies that were very well established — that may have been in the space for six, seven years — and even out-compete them or have more features than most of them,” Jean-Emmanuel says.

With their funding secured and platform proven, SuiteOp is sure to accelerate their go-to-market strategy while continuing to build the comprehensive vertical SaaS solution that the hospitality industry has been waiting for.
