As 2024 comes to a close, we’re reflecting on everything both the Bubble team and the community have to celebrate. You accomplished a lot — whether it was launching an app or simply sharing on the forum — and you pushed us to do the same.

This year, we ‌focused on helping you build and grow on our platform. That meant launching AI-powered tools, boosting the editor to make it faster and more intuitive, and connecting with all of you online and in person. We’re genuinely proud of everything we’ve worked on this year, and we’re excited to push the envelope even further in 2025.

But before the new year begins, we wanted to highlight some of the top moments of the year.

We came together — virtually and in person

Our 2024 at Bubble was jam-packed with events. 

This year, with so much buzz around AI, we were excited to host several talks that zeroed in on exactly how builders can use it to build faster and better than ever. Our Zero to One with AI event offered insights from experienced founders on doing just that, and explored Bubble’s new AI features for building even more efficiently. 

Our Build an AI App event also explored just how powerful AI can be for no-code development — Bubblers heard first-hand about the successful AI builders in our community and asked them questions about their journey creating apps on Bubble.

And, of course, we came together — both in-person and remotely — at BubbleCon 2024: a two-day, action-packed event full of product innovation, thought leadership, and networking.

We made building on Bubble better 

From small improvements like Boosts to bigger updates like our first acquisition (hello, Flusk!), we remained dedicated to building a better, more secure, and scalable tool for no-coders.

At BubbleCon 2024, we announced that we’re helping you build apps:

• Faster and with less friction: Fast forward to Day 2 with Bubble Assist. Then, edit with ease with a new and improved workflow tab.
• More securely: Keep your apps secure with Flusk.
• With more stability: Iterate on more reliable and consistent application hosting with improvements to platform stability, including better infrastructure against DDoS attacks, optimized database performance, and robust rate-limiting and concurrent work protections.
• On mobile: Build, test, and publish native mobile apps (Now in beta! Join the waitlist here).

We also made huge improvements to our editor to help make building:

• Efficient: Develop apps faster and more intuitively with improved organization, search capabilities, and element interactions through Bubble’s elements tree.
• Smooth: Build without bugs thanks to the boosts — from feature enhancements to UI and performance improvements — suggested by you. 
• Robust: Return multiple data types to build more modular and efficient workflows with less complexity. Use our component library — which includes 50 new pre-built components across categories like headers and forms — to build complex applications with drag-and-drop simplicity.

And made our community better, too

This year, we also focused on helping you sharpen your no-code skills.

To do that, we rebuilt the Bubble Developer Certification exam on Bubble to make it more reliable and flexible — and make it feel more like us.

We also made it easier for Bubble-certified developers to get hired, too. Our revamped Hire a Developer portal better matches users who want to hire Bubble agencies and developers for their project ideas.

But above all, you did some amazing things

You all pushed the barriers of Bubble and continued to build innovative, groundbreaking apps. From around the world, we saw you accomplish some stunning achievements.

• Built a whopping 5.1 million apps 
• Run 26.5 billion workflows
• Viewed the Bubble forum 36.7 million times

You made no-code building better for everyone

Aside from your own accomplishments, you also made sure that everyone was making their app dreams a reality, too. In 2024:

• You made our community better: We celebrated a select few Bubblers with community awards for all of their commitment to our community. Among them was Caio Calderari, who was awarded Mentor of the Year for his over 300 videos about how to use Bubble, and Jagdish Bajaj, who was awarded Freelancer of the Year for the quality and professionalism of his work. 
• You made our platform better: You also helped us improve no-code building through our Bubble Early Testing Advisory (BETA), making our newest features even better.
• You made the no-code industry better: With more than 760 Bubble-Certified Developers, you’re raising the standard for professional no-code development.
• You made each other better: Our Bubble Ambassadors organized meetups and shared best no-code practices through dozens of community meet-ups and events — like in India, Poland, and Paris — to help everyone become better builders.

You learned a lot

You were most interested in learning about getting started on Bubble, but were just as excited about going beyond the fundamentals — you were stoked about:

• Unity, the gaming platform that’s educating its users through its Bubble-built Knowledge Hub
• Hive, the modern healthcare platform that recently raised a $6.5 million funding round.
