How do I update my plugin to Plugin API v4?
See the Updating to Plugin API v4 section of the manual for a step-by-step guide and additional context.
Why can't Bubble update plugins on behalf of plugin authors?
We respect plugin authors' intellectual property. Per our terms and conditions, we won't modify plugin authors' code.
Why was my plugin delisted from the Marketplace?
Your plugin was likely delisted because it hasn't been updated to use Plugin API v4. Plugins are removed from the Marketplace until they're updated.
How can I get my plugin relisted on the Marketplace?
Once you've updated your plugin to use Plugin API v4, you can resubmit it for review. You can find the step-by-step update guide here. Note that the review queue can get long — the sooner you update, the better.
Will I still receive payments for delisted or deprecated paid plugins?
Existing recurring payments are not immediately affected by delisting or deprecation. However, Bubble reserves the right to stop payments for any plugin that breaks after the January 4, 2024 deadline due to not being updated.
Can I get an exception or extension to the update deadline?
Bubble won't grant exemptions to delisting, as we want to avoid recommending plugins that may break. Extensions to the deadline may be granted on a case-by-case basis — contact Support so the team can evaluate your request.
Will more of my plugins be deprecated in the future because of this update?
It's unlikely. While platform updates are inevitable, only the plugins currently marked as Deprecated or "Update" are at risk for this specific issue. We still encourage you to keep plugins updated to the latest version whenever possible — plugins with available updates will be marked as "Can Upgrade".
Why can't Bubble fix deprecated third-party plugins?
We're assisting plugin authors in maintaining functionality during the v4 transition, but we won't change plugin authors' code as a matter of intellectual property and terms of service.
